Teen Driver Development Program

A one-on-one program that builds driving fundamentals, road judgment, and manual-transmission confidence at the student’s pace.

The Teen Driver Development Program is a one-on-one course built around the individual student’s experience, confidence, and goals. It can be booked as a first Academy course; Teen Driver Safety and Survival is not required.

Instruction begins with the basics: seating and control setup, vision, mirror use, smooth steering and braking, road positioning, low-speed precision, and sound decision-making. Manual-transmission training covers clutch engagement, throttle coordination, smooth starts and stops, gear selection, and shifting with mechanical sympathy.

As the student becomes consistent, the work can progress into braking accuracy, weight transfer, path selection, hazard anticipation, and recovery habits. Repetition and direct instructor feedback turn each skill into something the driver can explain and reproduce.
